Memphis von Menslo is a striking looking 5 year old white German Shepherd. This extremely handsome guy turns heads wherever he goes; whether strolling through the neighborhood or waiting in line for a hot dog at Cupid’s, people are awed by his good looks. Memphis is slowly recovering from the disappointment of losing what he thought was his forever home. He loved his human family, especially the children. Our kennel techs say that Memphis “is a very sweet, loving boy who wants to be with his humans.” He will hang out in our doggie play yard for a while but then wants to leave; he’s all about people versus other dogs. This terrific, medium-to-high-energy boy is housebroken and knows some basic commands. Memphis needs an owner who will reinforce his confidence and set boundaries for him, and who will provide him with some basic leash training. Our boy has some separation anxiety and will jump fences when left alone, so will do best as the only dog in a condo or apartment, or in a house where someone is home to supervise him when he is out in the yard. Once Memphis feels secure and part of the family, he will prove to be the best friend you ever had.
